    Begin Yoga Month by tuning into the acoustic vibrations offered in music without amplification to help reduce stress, lessen anxiety, and brighten our moods. Music can be a tool to enhance movement and awaken the soul. We invite you to join us in this celebration of simplicity in sound blended with the beauty of yoga.

     

      • TexZen Live Acoustic Texas Music

        Austin is known as the Live Music Capital of the World so join us in celebrating music and movement in this yoga month featured class. Acoustic TexZen offers a yoga flow set to live acoustic songs from Texas music legends.

     

      • Acoustic Slow Flow

    The sacred strumming of an acoustic guitar will delight your senses in this yoga month featured class. Enjoy a brief invocation to bring body and spirit into harmony while calling in higher energies to aide in the alignment of goals and intentions vis-a-vis the series of Asanas to be explored in class.

     

    YOGA GAMES WEEK

    Let the games begin! All week long we invite you to partake in play. Our yoga team has designed a fun challenge for you sprinkled into each class. We end this week of Yoga Month with a Friday Night Game Night!

     

      • Yogaland Board Game

    This experiential board game challenges knowledge of yoga’s eight-limbed path ideal for those who want to deepen their yoga practice it is a witty and provocative community-building opportunity to engage body and mind, heart and soul.

    Take Flight at the Farm: Aerial Yoga Week!

    Join us for the launch of outdoor aerial yoga classes at our very own Cypress Creek Farm. You will be transported to a private, scenic spot on the farm to enjoy the beauty and shade of centuries old trees as you prepare to fly. Immerse yourself in all of the sights and sounds of nature as you are supported by our aerial silks and led through class with one of Miraval Austin’s aerial yoga specialists. Please wear closed toed shoes as you will walk through the farm to arrive in the secluded space chosen for this unique experience.

     

      • Low Back Love

    This gentle yet exciting class focuses on stretching, strengthening, and lengthening your lower back muscles. With the guidance of one of Miraval’s Aerial Specialists you will flip upside down to get both a new perspective on your yoga practice as well as decompression for your spine. You never know what can happen when you change your perspective in yoga and in life. 90 MIN | $100

     

      • Swing and Stretch

    This relaxing aerial silks experience utilizes the silks to deepen stretches and increase range of motion. Floating relaxation concludes this journey in creating a body in balance. 90 MIN | $100

     

      • Aerial Fitness

    Fly through the air with the greatest of ease as you enjoy this total body workout experience. Using the aerial silks as props to intensify traditional fitness exercises you will discover how play can be disguised as an opportunity to develop greater strength and stamina.     Autumnal Equinox: Yoga for Balance Week

    There is an old wives tale that you can stand an egg on its end on the equinox. Here at Miraval Austin we believe in creating a life in balance every day of the year, so join us for this special yoga month feature week all about balance and the ethereal shifting of
    the seasons.

     

      • Yoga & Tarot

    In this signature Yoga Month class Lynn Carroll-Rivera Miraval Austin’s Tarot Specialist will offer students a quick draw from the deck to aide in intention setting for the yoga experience to come. Lynn will offer insight on the card pulled from the deck and each student will leave with their card as a reminder of the experience and to provide opportunity for further reflection.

     

    Self Sensory Week  – Tuning into your senses

    As Yoga Month 2020 comes to a close we invite you to check in with yourself and tune into a deeper state of your desired emotion be it peace, joy, or harmony. The senses are often drivers of distraction from a deeper practice in yoga, but this feature week is all about elevating your senses to go further into your practice.

     

      • Sense of Sound Yoga

    Miraval Austin’s Sound Healer and Yoga Specialist Kim Humphries incorporates the healing sound of the harmonium in this relaxing yoga experience. The vibrational tones of the harmonium can be felt deep into the core of the body amplified by the sacred vibrations enjoyed in Solidago you will leave with a renewed vigor and higher vibration.
